We have extensive experience developing performance appraisal instruments. We develop behaviorally-based performance
appraisals that focus on observable behaviors by conducting interviews and workshops with incumbents and supervisors.
During the workshops, we ask participants
to identify behaviors that comprise performance at various levels (e.g., Needs
Improvement, Meets Expectations, and Outstanding). Our performance
appraisal instruments can be administered electronically, using formula-embedded
spreadsheets, to facilitate ease of use and to minimize computation errors. Such instruments
are
useful for providing specific performance feedback as well as for administrative
purposes.
